We collect information about you only when you complete the contact form on this site, or when you email, call or message us directly. Through the form that is the name, email address, phone number and message you type in.

The form does not submit to a database. Pressing Send message opens your own email application with the details filled in, and the message is sent from your email account to ours. This website runs no server-side database, no customer records and no mailing-list signup, and we do not buy or import contact details about you.

Only to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote or consultation, carry out the work you asked for, and keep the records that a job reasonably needs. We do not use your details for advertising, marketing newsletters or profiling, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

This site sets no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies. There are no tracking pixels, no advertising networks and no analytics scripts running in your browser.

The only thing stored on your device is a small note in your browser's own local storage that you closed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear every time you visit. That note never leaves your device and tells us nothing about you.

The page typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google sees the request for those files, which includes your IP address. The site is hosted on Lovable's infrastructure, which may keep standard technical access logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the service running and secure. We have no access to those logs for individual visitors and use them for no other purpose.

Enquiry and job correspondence is kept only as long as needed for the work and for our legal and accounting obligations, then deleted. Nothing you send through the form is stored by the website itself.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us processing it. Send your request to info@pilothydraulics.co.za and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you may also complain to the South African Information Regulator.

We take reasonable technical and organisational care with the information we receive. Email is not a fully secure medium, so please don't send anything you wouldn't want to be seen by us.

The site is aimed at businesses and professionals and is not directed at children; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
